SO SAD!

Well saying goodbye to Adam and Regan last night was I think the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Adam did not want to say goodbye. I told him he could call me anytime he wanted. He said he did not know my number. He wanted me to write it on paper for him. Then later mom told me he wrote his number on a paper plate and taped it to the fireplace. He told Nana and Grandaddy that they could call him whenever they needed to. He also informed Grandaddy that this was the last night he would be spending the night in America! Poor baby does not even understand. What am I going to do without hearing those funny things everyday. I am going to miss them so much. I am counting down until July 11th when they come home to go to the beach. Katie is talking in her seat now. She is such a taker these days. Have a great day!

Memorial Weekend

It has been awhile since I have posted. We were busy this past week. I have been trying to spend as much time as I possibly can with Adam He is leaving day after tomorrow. He spent Thursday, Friday and Saturday night with us. We had so much fun. All of us were busy playing the whole weekend. He had fun helping me with katie. She loves him so much. When he is around she keeps her eyes glued to him. Tomorrow the three of us, Adam, Katie, and myself are going to the mall. Adam loved his tie on his tux so much that he wants one of his own. I told him I would get him one. This will be my last day with him for over a month. At least I can count down the days until July 11th when he comes back for a week. Here are a few more pictures. We finally got all 5 babies in the family together for a picture.

Wedding Weekend

Well we made it through wedding. It was so perfect. My sister was so beautiful. Adam walked her down the aisle and he looked so precious in his tux. Regan and Jason are in Cancun probably having the time of their life. We had a lot of out of town company. It was so great to see everyone.

Katie started eating green beans tonight. She loved them. She acted like she had been eating them for forever.

My heart.

This blog tonight is more for my therapy than anything. Most of you know Regan is getting married and moving to Illinois. That means Adam ( my "first" first born) is leaving. I have not really come to terms with it. I just kept telling myself that is was a long way off and that I had plenty of time to spend with him. Now it is just two weeks away and I think tonight my heart began to break. This is going to be one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I don't want to say goodbye to that precious boy.

Eating out of a spoon.

Tonight Katie got to eat Oatmeal out of a spoon. She like the idea of eating because she was opening her mouth, but she didn't really like the oatmeal. It was hilarious. Next week we get to eat veggies! Here are some pictures and video.

4 Month Check Up

We survived our visit at the doctor yesterday. Katie weighs 16 lbs even. She is 25 1/2 inches long. She is very healthy. The doctor could not believe how much she had changed. She got three shots yesterday and of course she screamed. It made her NaNa cry. I was much better this time. Katie stopped crying as soon as I picked her up. She still has to be on her Zantac twice a day but now she gets to eat real food. (well baby food) We have to start her out on oatmeal to make sure she knows how to eat. NExt week we will begin veggies! I can't wait. We don't have to go back until she is 6 months! She is trying to sit up a littl by herself. Here is a picture.

MOTHERS DAY

I hope everyone has a great mothers day. I know I am enjoying it already. I got to sleep until 9 this morning. We were supposed to go to church, but my husband let me sleep until I woke up. We are going to meet my family for lunch and then who knows what the day will bring.

It was one year ago today that I got a positive reading on my pregnancy test. What a great gift God gave me. I found out I was going to be a mother on Mothers day. God has blessed me more than I could have ever asked for. I thank Him everyday for all of the blessings He has given me. My precious baby is now 4 months old. I can't believe that a year has passed since my biggest dream in life started. Have a great day!

Picture Time!

I tried to get some good pictures this morning, but someone would not cooperate with me. She was tired so I guess it was a bad time. We are still doing great. She goes on Monday for her 4 month checkup. I can't wait to see how much she weighs. I hope you enjoy the pictures. The one on the bed is funny. SHe was playing while I was hanging up clothes. I looked over and she had just passed out. I guess the sleepy bug bit her. The one of me rear end was a very tired day for me. Shannon told me to stay still. He took the picture. It is a bib stuck to me. I had also put the milk in the cabinet a few minutes before. That was a Calgon day.

Weekend Fun!

This weekend was very relaxing. We hung around the house for the most part and got some good rest. Katie and Daddy practiced laying on her tummy. In the past she screams but this weekend was different. She did so well. She is playing with toys now and noticing so many different things. She is such a big girl. Today we are going to help NaNa get her house ready for wedding guests.
I have a friend named Tracey Thomas. Her son Jackson was born in November with a rare disorder called RCDP. There are very few children in the U.S. with this disorder. Tracey and other mothers are trying to raise money to help find a cure for RCDP. They are selling T-shirts. You can get two for $20. Go visit his site as caringbridge.org. When you get there type in jacksonthomas. (no spaces) If you decide to help with this cause you can make the check out to Rhizo Kids. Mail the check to Tracey Thomas at 50 Cross Creek Lane, Alpine Al. 35014. Make a little note to let her know you know me so I can get you your shirt. Please help out if you can. If you don't want a t-shirt and just want to make a donation that is fine too.
I was blessed with a healthy baby so I feel the need to help out as much as I can. Thank you!

Update

At my six weeks checkup my doctor thought she felt another fybroid tumor. I had an ulstrasound done and there were three. I was very nervous because before I got pregnant with Katie I just had one. The doctor called later that week and just said to come back in six weeks. I went Wednesday and the nurse said she only saw two this time. That is great! I am hoping the doctor sees the same thing when she looks at the ultrasound pictures. I will be waiting for the call next week. Please pray. I really don't want any surgery anytime soon. Katie is doing great. She is so precious and so much fun. We hope to have a nice relaxing weekend at home. Only two more weeks until my sister gets married!
