7 weeks!

My Katie is 7 weeks old today. We go on the 11th for her check up. I can't wait to see how much she weighs. We need prayers from anyone who can give them. My mom is in the hospital. She has been there since Tuesday and we are not sure when she is coming home. She is being treated for bronchitis and pneumonia. We also found out some sad news today. My sister in law found out she has brain cancer. She is scheduled to have surgery either tomorrow or saturday. This is her second time to have cancer. The first time was in her lungs just a year ago. She has been through so much. Please pray for her and the family. I think everyone could use a little extra strength to get through this. Thank you for visiting our blog. Have a great day!

I love my baby!

Things are so much fun around the Bryant household these days. Katie is starting to smile and express herself. She is following objects, kicking, cooing, and just loving life. My sister bought her a seahorse for Valentines Day that plays music. She LOVES it. I actually went and got another one just in case something happens to the first one. If she is fussy we turn it on and she calms down and usually goes to sleep. I can't believe how much she is growing and changing. She is getting so heavy and growing out of clothes already. I know I have said it before, but time is just going by way too fast. Last night she slept for 6 1/2 hours. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. If it were not for the storms we probably would have slept longer. Being a mom is the best thing. God has blessed me with more than I could ever ask for.

6 Weeks Old Already!

I can't believe she is already 6 weeks old. The time is flying by way too fast. She is still so small, but has grown so much. I don't want it to go by this fast. Here are a few new pictures. I got one where she is trying to smile!

February 20th

Today Katie and I left the house around 9:45. She feel asleep as soon as we got on the road. I went for my six week check up. My doctor said she might have felt another fybroid tumor. I have to go for an utlrasound soon. Let's all pray that it is not one. After we left the doctor we met my mom for lunch. Katie was still asleep even after eating her bottle. We went to the Summit and then home. Katie did not wake up until 5:45 this evening. I think I am going to be in for a long night. Maybe I can catch up on some movies. Oh well we will see how things go. Oh also this morning Katie found her thumb. She was sucking on it so hard. I think she was wanting her bottle. LOL

Hooray!

I am so excited. Last night Katie went to sleep at 11:00 and did not wake up for a bottle until 4:30. She ate until 5 and then went back to sleep until 7:30. It was wonderful. Hopefully this wasn't a one night thing. Maybe we are starting to progress! She is so sweet. Right now she is sitting by me in her boppy. She is staring at me and trying not to go to sleep. If she only knew how wonderful it is to sleep!

Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day! Today Katie and I went to visit at my school. Everyone says she looks like her daddy. We are going out tonight with friends to eat for Valentines Day. SHannon asked me what I wanted for Valentines and I told him a day of sleep. So my present is that he is going to get up with her for the next three nights and let mommy sleep. I very excited! Nana and Grandaddy came over this past Sunday. Here are a few more pictures. Braxton is one of Katies many cousins. He is trying out her new swing. Enjoy! New Song

There is a new song my borhter just told me about. The song is called, "I Saw God Today" by George Strait. It is so sweet. You must go find it on the internet and listen. It makes me think about my Katie Bug!

One month old check up!

Well we went today for Katie's one month check up. She weighs 9lbs, 2oz. She was 21 inches long. The doctor said her chest sounded great so no more RSV!!! YEAH! She was very healthy. In fact she slept through the whole exam until she got her shots. I have never heard her scream the way she did today. It was so traumatizing (sp) that she passed out in her car seat on the way home. Good thing she is not old enough to remember for the next time we go in.

Being a mom is so great. I was so tired all night and this morning, but as soon as I saw Katie's precious face, all the tired feelings went away. It is amazing how just looking at her revives me. I just feel like sqeezing her because she is so sweet. God blessed me with such a special little one.

One Month Old!

Katie is going to be one month old tomorrow. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. She is growing everyday. She already eats 3 1/2 oz every 3 hours. She is such a sweet baby unless she is hungry. She wants it and she wants it now! We will go Tuesday for her check up. I can't wait to see how much she weighs. I thought I would be bored staying at home but I love it!
