Wow I didn't realize it had been a month since my last post. We have been so busy. The week before Spring Break was awful. My sister in law passed away, my mom was put into the hospital, and Katie and I both got sick. That week and half into Spring Break is a blur. by Wednesday Katie started feeling better. We made a short trip to the zoo and had an afternoon at the park. I really needed one more week to enjoy, but now we are back into the swing of things.
Katie is changing so much everyday. She has learned so many new expressions, actions, and words. She keeps me running. As you can tell by the pictures it is hard to get a good one. She does not stop moving. She has a shoe fettish. She wants everyone to wear shoes and she wants to wear everyones shoes. When we went to the park she would get a kids shoe and take off running. It was so funny. She still only has 4 teeth in her mouth, but she will eat just about anything you give her. Peas will always come back out! One of her favorite things to eat is guacamole. She really does not like sweets. She might eat a bite and then spit it out. She is learning to say names. I am mommy, Shannon is momma (lol), my mom is Nani, Regan is Rae Rae, Adam is Ada, Dad is Daddy. It is amazing what she has learned just in the last couple of weeks. She loves to read books and be read to. Nani is the best at reading because she does all of the sound effects. Katie is a girlie girl inside the house and a tomboy outside the house. Inside she wants her purse, makeup, and even wants to wear panties. Outside she wants to run, play in the dirt, and splash in the mud puddles. She is an all american girl. What more can you ask for! :)
