What a great Easter we had! The first part of the weekend was not so fun. Shannon had another death in the family and it was very sad. Katie is sick again! She had fever Thursday night but of course it was gone by Friday afternoon. Snotty nose and coughing again. Anyway. Saturday night she was up all night croup coughing so needless to say we did not make it to sunrise service. We did however make it to the 11:00 service. It was a wonderful service and you could just feel Jesus in the room. The Easter bunny did come and see Katie. She got a set of plastic golf clubs and a purse with "fake" make up in it. She was so excited. Later that day we went to Wes and Tonyas (brother of Shannon) house to have a big Easter lunch and then the big egg hunt. We hid 148 eggs and the kids actually found all of them. The babies got about a 2 minute head start. Katie did great. We had practiced earlier in the week so she new exactly what to do. She even got 2 money eggs. You will notice that she is in a dress but loves all of the "boy" toys. She also has a thing right now with sticking her tongue out. If anyone has any suggestions on that one please let me know. Sorry the video is blurry..we had a rookie doing the video shoot...DADDY! Hope you enjoy. I am off today and may not get out of my pj's all day. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family and a wonderful God to make all of it possible! I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
