week2

Katie has been doing well at all of the places I have had to leave her the past 2 weeks. She went swimming for the first time and loved it. I have missed her so much. I can't wait to take her to the beach. She is sitting up so well these days. When she is on her tummy she can get her bottom up, but has no clue what to do next. Crawling is soon upon us. Kayla has been taking pictures of Katie. I really think she should be a professional but she does not think she is that good. I do. I would pay money for these pictures. See for yourself!

Leaving my Baby!

Well the past two days I have been in the AMSTI workshop. I left Katie for the first time on Monday. Well mom came up to the house and stayed. I was gone from 6:30-4:30. That was the longest I had been away from her. I called 5 times that day to check on her. When I got home we loved on each other sooooo much. She was so excited to see me and I was soooo excited to see her. Tuesday Shannon dropped Katie off at Kayla's house. (Kayla is going to keep her this fall.) This afternoon I came to get her and I couldn't get there fast enough. She played all day and was pooped. She came home and took almost a 2 hour nap. Kayle played dress up with her and took pictures. She is my princess ballerina. I know this is good for both of us, but it makes my heart hurt being away from her for so long. I really really dont' want to go back to work. If anyone knows of a job I can do at home for decent money let me know. I can't think of anything!

Funny Girl

Well I have another funny video. Katie loves the blanket on her head for some reason. She puts it over her head and will just lay there. When I was taping her it was like she did it on command. Maybe I can win millions from Americas Funniest Videos! J/K...Also Daddy was supposed to get her dressed for bed last night. He was taking forever. When I saw her she had her pj's on backwards. He tries!

5 months

We are really working on rolling over. She is trying hard but just cant make it. I got her a new pair of sunglasses for the beach. She is ready!

5 Months Tomorrow

Well I can't believe it. Katie will be 5 months old tomorrow. She is getting so big. She is now eating all kinds of food and she loves all of it. If she loves her vegetables this much I can't imagine how much she will love her fruit. She still is not rolling over, but is trying to sit up. I love putting her in dresses but we have a bit of a problem. She pulls her dress up over her head constantly. Her daddy has had talks with her about this, but she just doesn't listen. I told him to get used to it...LOL Anyway, here are pictures and video of this little monkey.

Blessings

Have you ever just sat and thought about all of your blessings? I have been doing that today. There are way too many to count. The Lord has blessed me with more than I could even ask for. My anniversary is tomorrow. I can't believe sometimes that I am actually a mother, wife, and teacher. These are the three things I have wanted in life since I can remember. How many people get everything they have dreamed of. Not too many. I have a wonderful husband who puts up with me, a family who loves me, friends who take care of me, and a daughter who can't get enough of me. I have a house, food to eat, a job, transportation, every thing that I need. I am so grateful. I love the Lord and everything He has blessed me with. Count your blessings and see what you come up with. It will amaze you!

Big Girl!

Katie is getting so big. She is learning how to do so many things. She is trying to sit up. She does good for a few minutes and then she topples if you are not there to catch her. She loves eating if you can't tell. She is ready for a steak but carrots, peas, and green beans will have to do for right now. She is trying to roll over, but she just can't seem to get that leg to flop over.

We are making it ok without Adam. I have made a big improvement. I don't cry every time I talk to him on the phone. like I was doing a few days ago. I miss him but he sounds happy on the phone so that makes me feel better. He already has a new friend who lives next door and he has a new pet (blue fish named Max). I will see him soon.
