Beach Trip

Katie had her first beach trip. We left Friday and headed to Ft. Morgan. We made a stop in Montgomery to visit Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Clark. We arrived into Ft. Morgan around 6. That evening we went to visit my friend who was getting married on Saturday. Saturday morning we went shopping for Katie at the outlets and I spent too much money. (that is why I am not a shopper) We went to my friends wedding at 5:30. It was a beautiful ceremony. Katie did not like the wind on the beach but I had her covered up with a sun hat and a blanket. I am sorry to say that we never got a picture of her in the sand but we are going back in July so hopefully we will have better luck. Sunday we went to my sisters pampered bride shower. Less than three weeks and Regan will be Mrs. Regan Thompson. Life is exciting!

New Pictures!

Sorry it has been awhile. We have been very busy. Katie is sleeping through the night. It is wonderful! We went on a field trip with Adam and his school last Wednesday. I think every school was there that day. Katie slept through the whole trip. We also went to Regan's wedding shower Saturday night. I can't believe she is getting married so soon. I will not be able to keep a dry eye.

Three Months

Well Katie is three months old and she did something wonderful! She slept last night from 8 until 5:45 this morning. I kept expecting her to wake up for a bottle so I didn't go to sleep until around 11. I told her next time to let me know so I can sleep that long also! Yeah Katie!

Afternoon out with family!

Most of you know that there were 5 babies born in the family within 6 months of eachother. Yesterady we decided to take an outing. (We were missing one set of kids because of school.) At about 11, Amy, Kayla, and myself set out to the Olive Garden with 7 children! You can imagine the stares when we arrived. We had 15 week old twins, 12 week old baby girl(kaite), 7 month old, 2 1/2 year old, and two 4 year olds. We sat down at the table and believe it or not, we had a pretty smooth lunch. No food was thrown and no terrible outbursts. It was nice to have the park to threaten everyone with. When we left we headed to the park but it was closed. Whatever! So then we went to the mall to the dollar tree. We had to console all of the tears because of the park. Everyone picked a prize and we just ran around the mall. We went back to my sister-in-laws house and had a photo shoot. Anyway we had a great time. Here are some new pictures.

Mommy's Night Out!

I got to have a night out with the girls! I went out with other mothers who needed a night out also. We went to eat Mexican and it was so good. We stayed from 6:30 until 10:00! We laughed so hard my face hurt when I got into my car. It was the best therapy money could buy. We have decided to do it once a month.

O Katie is doing great! She will be 3 months old on Thursday. She is "talking" so much now. Yesterday I even got a little giggle out of her. She is so much fun these days. I will update pictures soon.

Katie Bug

Well katie is doing great on her medicine and she is loving her oatmeal. When I took her to the doctor a week ago she weighed 12lbs and 12 oz. I am sure she is 13 now. She loves her groceries. She has been out to lunch the last two days and on the go with mom. Shopping, doing errands, and visiting friends. Today we are going to rest!!!! Katie has started to cut teeth believe it or not. They are not coming through the skin but you can feel the buds. The doctor didn't seem to shocked. I thought it was way too young. Anyway, because of this now she pulls her pacifier out and sucks her thumb. I like the pacifier better because you can get rid of it, you can't ever get rid of the thumb. She will be 12 weeks tomorrow. I had to pack away a ton of clothes the other day. So many had tags on them. I cried thinking that she will never be that small again. Where does the time go? O well many great things to come.
