Katie decided it was time to walk. Now she walks all over the place. She looks a bit like a drunk soldier at times but she is progressing well. She has been a very fussy baby the past two weeks. She is always happy so it is hard to deal with these days. She is teething and on top of that has had a fever virus off and on. Mom took her to the doctor for me today and everything was clear. Just fever. It was so hard for me today not being able to go with her to the doctor. I am out of days at school because of all of the time I took off when seh was born. I dont' regret that time at all but I just wish I could be there when she needs me. Katie loves the to get in the front seat of the car or truck. If she is cranky we can put her in the seat of the car to play. Here are some pictures!

One Year Check-Up
Katie went to see her doctor today. She weighed 24lbs. Her doctor said she looked great. She needs to get off of the bottle, paci, and can have whole milk! I hope she does well with the milk. That will save about 20 bucks a week! We had her pictures taken Saturday at portrait innovations and they are amazing. I am going to put a couple on here but these are ones that were not edited by the photographer. If you have a chance you have to come see the pictures! She is such a ham. She is getting braver everyday. She is letting go of things and taking steps on her own. It won't be much longer now. We have been having trouble with the separation anxiety. She has been sad for the past week and a half. She has been crying when we leave and she hasn't done that in the past. Oh well just another little obstacle she will have to grow out of.
We are showing our house Thursday. Everyone pray that we can sell!

Dancing Queen!
Hello all. Wow what a week. Turning one has been interesting for all. Katie has not been herself. She has started the separation anxiety thing. She was literally sad M-F while I was at work. M-W mom said that she just wasn't herself. Thursday was hard for Kayla and finally Friday I left school early convinced she had to be sick. She was fine as long as I was with her. All weekend I can't be out of her sight or else she starts crying. Today we went to have her pictures made. I can't wait to mail them to everyone. Tonight Katie decided she was the dancing queen. She gets her moves from her dad!

Happy Birthday Katie
I can't believe it! I have a one year old. It is so weird. I miss my baby but I love my little girl! So many things have happened this year. We are so blessed. We had a small little party yesterday at the house. Katie of course did not love her cake. She does not like to have mess on her hands. I think she will be a girly girl. She loves bows, purses, make - up , and jewlry. What do you think? Some of you don't know but Katie has an adopted grandmother...YaYa. Well for Christmas YaYa gave Katie a magical princess hat. It is precious and I am so glad she wore it for pictures! Thank you YaYa! Today Katie has been taking 2-3 steps by herself. I guess she knows she is one and it is time to start walking. She is a brave little girl. We also made it a point to lower her mattress on her crib. She is learning to climb down from the beds, couch, anything she does not want to be in. I am afraid the crib was going to be next. I hope God blesses us with another wonderful year like this past year. I hope you enjoy the pictures and video. We will be going Saturday to get professional pictures made. Can't wait!

Before,During, and After Christmas! Oh and New Year!
I know it has been awhile but we are back. We have a camera and things are starting to slow down again. We have been very busy. We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. We started out by having a staff get together at our house. Lots of fun! Then we celebrated the birth of Christ and Santa Claus. Katie had a wonderful time. She is trying to walk but just does not quite have the confidence yet. She is throwing fits and making us laugh daily. I can't believe she will be a year old on the 10th. This year has flown. The day after Christmas, mom and I drove to Peducah KY to meet Jason and Adam. We spent the night in Nashville and then drove in the next day. We got to keep Adam for a week. We had a blast. We went to Chuck E Cheese, bowling, Bass Pro Shop, shot fireworks, nature hikes, and played with friends. Last night when Shannon and I got home from taking Adam back to my moms it was way too quiet in the house. I miss him already. I loved having two kids for a week even though I must say I am quite exhausted. It is back to work tomorrow. Yuck. I feel like I need one more week just to rest. Anyway enjoy the pictures and video.
